Soggy Week!

I think we've all had a soggy week in the UK! I am in full support of the rain though, it's just what we need and will help all the growing that needs to occur for our hard working farmers to produce food. It will hopefully go some way to get us out of this drought too.....

Apart from getting soggy, we attended a wedding last weekend- it was fab and there was even some sunshine!! The newly weds are member of the Volkswagen owners club Goose and I belong to, called Dirty Buggers, so it was great to see the crew before festival season kicks off.

There were plenty of vintage volkswagens at the wedding, the gorgeous bride arrived in this beauty -

 We danced the night away and looked forward to the coming events of 2012. It was a great day!

This weekend they have all descended upon a very wet Santa Pod raceway for Big Bang festival. I had to stay at home and look after the pooch, which I'm actually glad of now since I have seen photos on facebook of how muddy and wet it is! So as weekend alone of chilling out for me. Think i'm going to watch some cheesy films and do some baking and maybe some internet shopping.....picked up this bargain on asos the other day- i'll have to wait til nextwinter to wear it, but I got it cheap!!

They are so good. Going to have to ration my intake though before I end up a bloater!
